Willow Model Horse Photo Show is a Facebook based show and was founded in 2020. It has been successful since with over 200 members of our group. We are a large, inclusive show with 13 divisions and a Pay As You Win format.

Where is the show hosted?
Willow MHPS is hosted on Facebook in a group called "Willow Model Horse Photo Shows". Please search for that title and answer the entry questions.
Is there an entry fee?
No, there is no entry fee. You can show entirely for free if you would like, and we offer printable ribbons for those who would prefer to do so. For those who prefer to have material prizes, these can be ordered based on your winnings - please see the next question.
How do I get actual rosettes and ribbons for my placings?
This show is in a Pay As You Win format. This means that after each show, there is an order period when you can order prizes based on your results. How many of each ribbon/rosette you order is up to you, and you can order as many or as few of your placings as you'd like.
Cost is worked out based on how many of each item you're ordering, and the current cost of shipping to your location. All costs are covered by the buyer.
What are the ribbons and rosettes like?
You can see photos of our previous orders below and in the Facebook group. We have recently changed suppliers and photos are of our old supplier materials.
Where can I find the rules?
Rules are in each album (class). There is an image in the first row titled "rules". They detail how many entries you can have, cross-entering rules and other valuable information. You can also find a copy here.
Where can I find the breed placement list?
The 2023 class list can be found in the 'Featured' section of the Facebook group. It can also be found on this page. It details where each make, scale and breed should go. Please refer to it carefully and ensure you place your models in the correct class to avoid DQ. For judges: please also refer to this to ensure fair and correct judging.
Why do you ask for my address every time I order ribbons?
I make sure to permanently delete everyones addresses after ribbons have shipped to ensure privacy and data protection. The only place it can be found once ribbons have shipped is in our chat, and you can delete the message that contains it if you would prefer.
What if I don't agree with the judging?
I strive to get the best judges we can in the group to judge classes. They must have previous experience and I personally vet them to ensure quality of judging. All judging is final. However, if a judge shows bias or goes against our rules, they can be banned from judging. Feel free to ask why your model places / did not place, but any poor sportsmanship will result in a ban from the group.
